Virgin Media installation experience

I’ve been on an 8Mbps (downstream), 512Kbps (upstream) ADSL broadband connection now for over five years. It has served me well with little or no hickups. However, recent changes to the way I work has required me to look for a faster broadband connection, especially one with a broader upstream speed of at least 1Mbps.
